The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas of the Bayero University (BUK) invites the public to attend the combined 36th and 37th convocation ceremony for the award of higher degrees, degrees, and prizes for the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 sessions.
The ceremony will take place daily at 9:00 am from February 7th-11th, 2025 at the Convocation Arena on the new campus located on Gwarzo Road in Kano.

CONVOCATION LECTURE
The Convocations Lecture will be given by Dr. Mansur Mukhtar, Sarkin Bai Kano, and Vice-President of Country Programmes at the Islamic Development Bank.
The topic of the lecture will be “Financing Education in the Post-Covid Era: Challenges and Opportunities.” The Chairman for this event will be Alhaji Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, CFR, and Ajiyan Katagum, former Pro-Chancellor.
