The cut-off mark BUK has fixed for 2026/2027 stands at 180. Candidates below that line will not proceed to the next stage, no matter how strong the rest of their application looks.
This is to enable students to know if they are eligible for admission into the school and also choose a lesser competitive course if their cutoff mark is low. This step applies equally whether a candidate is applying from within the state or outside it.
Bayero University Kano (BUK) is a university situated in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. It was founded in 1977 when it was renamed Bayero University College and upgraded from a university college to a university. It is the first university in Kano State.
BUK 2026/2027 JAMB Cut-off Mark
The fixed cut-off mark set by JAMB is 180. Therefore, any student who scores 180 and above is eligible for admission to Bayero University, Kano (BUK).
All aspirants should also know that students with higher cut-off marks will be considered for admission first.
