The Federal College of Education (FCE) Zaria has sent a notice to students on the ongoing COEASU strike.

This is to inform all students of the College (Remedial, Pre-NCE, NCE, PDE, and B.Ed) that the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) has embarked on a four (4) weeks WARNING STRIKE ACTION with effect from June 14.
As a result, all academic activities in the College have been suspended throughout the stipulated period of the strike.
While the strike is in effect, students who wish to return home may do so, with the understanding that once the striking academic staff calls off the strike, the first semester 2025/2026 Academic Session examination will resume immediately.
As a result, students should make adequate preparations for the examination while at home.
In the same vein, the management wishes to inform students who are writing their final year projects to continue writing at home to avoid unnecessary delays and to ensure the successful completion of their projects on time.
As a result, students are advised to complete their registration as soon as possible because the College portal will be closed following the strike. Please keep them focused on their studies while they are at home in the hope of an amicable resolution to the strike.
