We seek individual accountability for team HSE, Quality, Productivity, and Manufacturing Excellence objectives.
Someone to ensure all aspects/standards of the Responsible Care Safety Program are met. Directly supervises Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, and Schedulers and prioritizes their activities.
Responsibility
- Active daily coaching, leadership and development of direct reports
- Demonstrate visible safety leadership, ensuring policies, procedures, and standards are followed, and measures are taken to correct any non-compliance
- Leads the development of and execution of the weekly Maintenance Schedule
- Responsible for the timely resolution of day-to-day technical issues
- Leads Maintenance response and repair planning for critical equipment failures
Requirements
- 10 years of chemical plant experience with 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience with API standards 570, 650, 653, 620, 576, 682 etc.
- Experience with CSA B51 and TSSA requirements
- Experience with CMMS (preferably SAP)
- Experience as a leader in a unionized environment is required
- Must have demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
- Strong prioritization, problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience mentoring and coaching team members

- Must abide by safety, quality, and all other site policies and procedures
