The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Soil Science include the following:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and any other Science subject.
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
- RSU and MAUTECH require at least a pass in Physics
- MAUTECH requires Five (5) O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and one subject from Physics, Geography, or Economics.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Biology or Agricultural Science
- Mathematics or Physics
Special Consideration (Waiver) Remarks
MAUTECH requires Biology/Agricultural Science and any other two (2) of Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Economics, or Mathematics.
