    NSUK Department of Arabic Studies Admission Requirement

    Nigeria’s Keffi is home to Nasarawa State University. A tertiary institution called Nassarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) was established to promote the progress of education in the state and the area around it.

    Admission Requirements for Arabic Studies

    WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

    The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Arabic Studies is Five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Arabic and three (3) other relevant subjects.

    JAMB Subject Combination

    In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

    Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Arabic Studies at NSUK are Arabic & two subjects from Arts or Social Sciences.

    Direct Entry Requirement

    These are the conditions you need to fulfil to gain Direct Entry admission to study Arabic Studies if you do not intend to use UTME.

    You require two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Arabic and any other Arts subject.

    JAMB Score

    All candidates interested in getting admitted into NSUK for the 2025/2026 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
