Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Meet QUT’s admission requirements for a postgraduate research degree.
• Meet the university’s English language requirements.
• Not be receiving another living allowance scholarship for the same research programme.
• Enrol as a full-time research student unless approval for part-time or external study has been granted.
• Be either:
  • A current QUT postgraduate research student who has completed less than:
    • One year of full-time PhD study, or
    • Six months of full-time MPhil study.
  • A prospective postgraduate research student applying to QUT.
• Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or international student.
