Scholarship Benefits

- Up to 4 years for PhD candidates.
- Up to 2 years for Master of Philosophy (MPhil) candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Meet QUT’s admission requirements for a postgraduate research degree.
- Meet the university’s English language requirements.
- Not be receiving another living allowance scholarship for the same research programme.
- Enrol as a full-time research student unless approval for part-time or external study has been granted.
- Be either:
- A current QUT postgraduate research student who has completed less than:
- One year of full-time PhD study, or
- Six months of full-time MPhil study.
- A prospective postgraduate research student applying to QUT.
- A current QUT postgraduate research student who has completed less than:
- Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or international student.
