This is to inform all students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, that the resumption date from the current Easter Break has been shifted from 24th April to 8th May 2025.
This move was carried out to avert a situation in which students have to start travelling back home for the Eid al-Fitr celebration, which marks the end of the Ramadan Fast and Workers’ Day celebration, both of which come up in the first week of May.

In view of this, students are directed to resume on 8th May in readiness for the continuation of Academic activities on 9th May 2025.
While wishing all Muslim faithful a pleasant Eid al-Fitr celebration, Management also wishes all students a safe return to the Institution on 8th May 2025.
