About The University of Calabar
The University of Calabar is a federal university in Cross River State, Nigeria’s south-south region. In 1975, the university was established.
The university has a very large student and staff population and a diverse student body. All applicants to the university are accepted, regardless of their cultural or religious background. Additionally, there is no restriction on applicants’ ages.

O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Economics include the following: Five (5) SSCE credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Economics and any two (2) of Arts or Social Science subjects

JAMB Score
For any candidate to be admitted to any Department in the University of Calabar, the Candidate must score 150 and above in JAMB.
