    About Asian Pacific Islander Scholarship

APIA Scholars, originally the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIA Scholars), is the largest non-profit organization in the country.

This program provides college scholarships to Asian and Pacific Islander Americans (APIA) with little or no financial need.

Our objective is to make a difference in the lives of APIA students in particular. Specifically by making resources available to them that encourage entrance to higher education.

Members of the Asian Pacific Islander Collective and the Asian Student Community founded the Asian Pacific Islander Scholarship in 2017. To help A/PI students overcome financial impediments to higher education.

Not only are they first-generation college students from the islands of Micronesia, Melanesia, or Polynesia, but many are also undocumented, disabled, and/or face other severe financial barriers to a Puget Sound education.
