The Enugu State Government has approved Professor Aloysius-Michaels Nnabugwu Okolie as the new vice chancellor of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).
The Enugu State Governor who visited the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, approved the appointment of Aloysius-Michaels Nnabugwu Okolie as the Vice-Chancellor of the institution till further notice.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, the appointment is effective from April 4th.

Aloysius-Michaels Nnabugwu Okolie, who hails from Awgu town in Agwu Local Government, Enugu State, is a professor of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
He was Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Chairman UNN Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) until his appointment.
