    D-Prize Competition 2025 for Aspiring Entrepreneurs Worldwide | Up to $20,000 for Grab

    D-Prize is now accepting submissions from young entrepreneurs worldwide to compete in its 2025 competition.

    Each participant can earn $20,000 to begin a pilot in any place with extreme poverty. Applications for the D-Prize Challenge must be submitted by June 26, 2025

    The D-Prize Competition 2025 is now accepting proposals. The D-Prize provides funding to emerging businesses that can disseminate proven poverty initiatives.

    To end poverty, the world has already invented products and services. Despite this, millions of individuals continue to be denied access. Can you create a business or non-profit that addresses one of the Distribution Challenges?

    The D-Prize will give up to $20,000 USD to the most intriguing teams to build a pilot version of your new organization, wherever severe poverty exists, to serve millions in the years ahead.

    Who Should Apply for D-Prize Challenge

    • D-Prize is open to prospective entrepreneurs from all over the world, of any age, and from any background. The vast majority of our honorees have neither launched nor raised any funds.
    • They will consider sponsoring existing organizations only if you are launching a new distribution-focused program and have a high-risk capital requirement that cannot be met by your current donors or revenue.
    • Existing organizations that apply for the D-Prize must have been in operation for no more than 18 months and must have raised no more than $30,000 in outside funding.
    • The organizers can only examine proposals submitted in English. However, you need not be fluent in English to apply, and grammar and vocabulary errors will not be penalized. They merely want to grasp your concept.

    D-Prize Challenge Eligibility

    • D-Prize is open to prospective entrepreneurs from all over the world, of any age, and from any background. Most of their honorees have yet to debut or raise any money.
    • They will consider sponsoring existing organizations only if you are spreading an existing intervention and have a high-risk capital requirement that cannot be met by your current donors or earnings.
    • Existing organizations that apply for the D-Prize must have been in operation for no more than 18 months and must have raised no more than $30,000 in outside funding.
    • The organizers can only examine proposals submitted in English. However, you do not need to be fluent in English to apply, and grammar and vocabulary errors will not be penalized. They merely want to grasp your concept.

    D-Prize Challenge Benefits

    • The D-Prize will give up to $20,000 USD to the most promising teams to build a pilot version of your new organization wherever severe poverty exists, with the intention of serving millions in the years ahead.

    D-Prize Challenge Evaluation Process

    • Round 1: Submit your concept note as well as your resume(s). Each competition receives around 1700 submissions.
    • Round 2: The top 5% of entrepreneurs are invited to submit a comprehensive proposal. You will have two weeks to develop and submit your proposal.
    • Final Round: Top entrepreneurs are interviewed over the phone and via email. The top 1% will earn up to $20,000 in seed funding.
    • Launch: Over the following three months, you will use your talent to launch an enterprise that has the potential to develop and help millions of people.

    How to Apply for D-Prize Global Competition Challenge

    Select a challenge above and be prepared for the following deadlines: 

    • The Global Competition launched on April 4, 2025.
    • The early Submission Deadline is May 15, 2025at midnight PT (pacific time) 
    • The regular Submission Deadline is June 5, 2025at midnight PT (pacific time) 
    • The extension Deadline is June 26, 2025at midnight PT (pacific time).
