FNSNA Breakthrough to Nursing Scholarships in US

Through leadership, development, and scholarship, the FNSNA has worked to advance the nursing profession since 1969.

Scholarships have been established within the FNSNA by people and organizations interested in nursing education.

Columbia College Bachelor Provost Scholarships

The FNSNA has increased its financial support for nursing education and the future of the nursing profession.

Students enrolled in state-approved nursing programs leading to an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, diploma, direct entry master’s degree, completion of the RN to BSN/MSN program, LPN/LVN to RN program, or accelerated programs are eligible for undergraduate scholarships.

Funds are only made accessible for graduate study in nursing if it is for a first degree. In a state-approved nursing program, matriculation signifies that a student has applied for admission and been accepted.

The provided undergraduate scholarships are open to applicants (accelerated program students may contact the FNSNA for more eligibility information).

The Selection Committee only accepts documents after receiving the application.

Benefits

In accordance with a set of standards specified by the scholarship sponsor, the Undergraduate Scholarship Program offers financial aid to all nationally enrolled nursing students who are currently enrolled.

These awards often highlight a particular nursing specialty. You may specialize in areas like oncology, critical care, or emergency nursing—a group of nursing students who are frequently underrepresented in the field. The maximum annual funding is $10,000.
