About The Global Korea Scholarship
The Global Korea Summer (GKS) Scholarship 2026 is open to exceptional undergraduate students from Latin America and Africa to apply.
This program is designed to provide in-depth academic training and invaluable experience for foreign students in Korea.

Eligible Fields of Study
Students who are currently studying computer engineering, game engineering and digital design are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Type: Undergraduate, Short Course
Number of Awardees: 80 undergraduate students in total (40 from Africa, 40 from Latin America)
Duration of Program:Â July – August (5 weeks)

Eligibility for Global Korea Summer Scholarship
- Must be a citizen of an African or Latin American country
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student in the second to fourth year at a university located in an African or Latin American country
- Must be fluent in English, although priority will be given to applicants with Korean fluency.
- Must be healthy mentally and physically
- Must be willing to adapt to the Korean culture and life in Korea
Scholarship Benefits
- The training institution is responsible for a round-trip air ticket, hotel room during the duration of the program, and traveller’s insurance.
- But Participants will be responsible for their visa fees and other expenses.
