The International Marisue and John Pickering Scholarships, endowed by Marisue and John Pickering, was created at the University of Maine in 1993.
This scholarship will be used to provide financial assistance to degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students who completed high school outside of the United States.
Preference is given to students who graduated from high school in Bulgaria or other Balkan Peninsula countries such as Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania.
