To be considered for the International Merit Scholarships at Iowa State University, applicants are to meet the following criteria;

• Applicants must be incoming international freshmen who have been offered admission to study a full-time program at the university.
•  Applicants must submit qualifying SAT or ACT scores.
•  Applicants must complete the Iowa State University OneApp by completing the General OneApp application and completing the International Student Admissions Scholarship application.
•  Applicants must demonstrate strong academic and leadership abilities.
