Eligibility
Though criteria differ slightly, all scholarship programs recognize extraordinary achievement, leadership, and talent. Recipients embody those qualities that have led their predecessors since 1986.
Our institution has an impressive track record of producing top scholars, with recipients of thirteen Rhodes Scholarships, three Marshall Scholarships, twelve Truman Scholarships, over ninety Fulbright Scholarships, and various other prestigious awards, such as Gates, Goldwater, Beinecke, and Luce.

Benefits
Since 1982, up to five recipients of the Reynolds Scholarship have been selected each year.
Each Reynolds Scholarship includes $3,400 for personal expenses in addition to the annual tuition, board, and lodging charges.
Reynolds Scholars are encouraged to apply for up to $5,000 for initiatives, including research, study, or travel, during the three summers between their first and final year.
Application
Most scholarships (including the full-cost Signature Scholarships) do not require a separate merit-based application.
Instead, students need only submit a complete application for undergraduate admissions by November 15. Finalists for scholarships that require more comprehensive interviews or auditions will be notified by the end of March.
