The Wine Country Gift Basket is presently taking applications from qualifying students for the Spirit of Giving Scholarship 2024, which is fully funded.

Wine Country Gift Baskets annually provides scholarships to three outstanding students who demonstrate a giving spirit.

Eligibility for the Spirit of Giving Scholarship

To be qualified, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Qualified institutions include, but are not limited to, four-year universities, community colleges, technical schools, and authorised credentials or degree programmes.
  • Applicants must intend to attend school in the next academic year at a US institution. They are neither Wine Country Gift Baskets nor Houdini Inc. employees or family members, and they have not previously won this scholarship.
  • Applicants from the United States are able to apply.
  • Courses or Subjects Eligible: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university.

How to Apply for the Spirit of Giving Scholarship

To apply, the applicants need to submit their applications through email scholarship@winecountrygiftbaskets.com.

Supporting Documents

As part of the application, applicants are required to submit all the following requirements in .doc, .docx or .pdf format:

  • Proof of enrollment for the upcoming school year Incoming freshmen can provide a copy of the acceptance letter and a supporting document showing they have started a relationship with the school.

Submission essay 500-750 words on one of the following topics:

  • How have you advanced the spirit of giving in your community or abroad, either through service or in giving?
  • How has the spirit of giving affected you personally?
  • How will your college or post-secondary education allow you to be of service to others or give to others?
