SUSDEV Masters Scholarships (VLIR-UOS)

Applications for the SUSDEV (VLIR-UOS) Masters Scholarships 2024/2025 for Students from Developing Countries are currently open for Master of Science in sustainable development Space, Society and Ecology.

This programme trains future sustainability leaders with the necessary interdisciplinary knowledge, skills and methodologies to address and solve intertwined socio-ecological challenges hindering the construction of more sustainable development paths.

Eligibility

The applicant, at the time of application, must be a national and resident of one of the 31 countries offering scholarships (but not necessarily the same country):

  • The applicant must be eligible for admittance to the selected Master’s programme at KU Leuven.
  •  For a Master’s programme, The maximum age candidate is 35 years for an initial master’s and 40 years for an advanced master’s. Forty-five years is The maximum age for a training candidate isThe candidate cannot succeed at this age on January 1 of the intake year.
  • Application for admission to one of the VLIR mentioned above ICP programs automatically triggers an application for a VLIR UOS scholarship. If you fulfil all the requirements, nothing else needs to be done.
