This is to inform all the newly admitted students of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU) that the institution’s management has approved the 2024/2025 Orientation Programme for fresh students.
The UMYU Orientation program is one of the traditional activities put in place by the university to welcome freshers and inform them of what goes around in the School.
In the UMYU orientation, the VC will discuss the school policy, dress code, matriculation ceremony date, and more.
The UMYU orientation date is usually approved by the school management, including Principal Officers, Deans of Faculties, Directors, and Heads of Departments.

Day 1 – Monday, January 10, 2025, at El-kenemi Hall and Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) – Campus Tour & Interactive Session
Day 2 – Tuesday, January 11, 2025, at Nuga Hall and University Main Library – Interactive Session & Tour of the University Main Library
Day 3 – Wednesday, January 12, 2025 – Interactive session at NWRCBNET hall

- Special Jumat Service for Muslim freshers at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University Mosque at 1.00 p.m.
Day 6 – Sunday, January 16, 2025 –Special Worship Service for Christian freshers at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University
It is mandatory for all freshers; attendance will be taken.
