Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU), Katsina, hasn’t published its fees schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session on its public website.
Fee amounts aren’t listed on the homepage; they’re only visible once you’re logged into the student portal, so the figures below are estimates from past sessions, shown as background while you confirm your own invoice there.
How Much is UMYU School Fees?
UMYU school fees vary by faculty and by whether you’re a Katsina State indigene. The last figures we could trace put tuition and charges for new students at roughly ₦70,000, with a full first-year budget, including hostel and miscellaneous charges, landing closer to ₦100,000.
More recent third-party estimates break it down by faculty: around ₦65,000 to ₦85,000 for Education and Humanities, and ₦70,000 to ₦100,000 for Natural and Applied Sciences and Law, depending on indigene status. These are planning ranges from aggregator sites, not a figure UMYU has confirmed directly, so don’t rely on them for exact payment.
UMYU School Fees For Part-Time Students
UMYU hasn’t published a tuition figure for part-time undergraduate study. Part-time postgraduate students have previously budgeted around ₦100,000 to ₦200,000 per session, depending on the programme.

Confirming Your UMYU Invoice Through the Student Portal
Every figure in this guide for UMYU, from the ₦70,000 to ₦100,000 new-student range to the ₦10,000 to ₦35,000 acceptance fee spread, comes from third-party estimates rather than a schedule UMYU has published directly.
Your actual invoice only appears once you log into the student portal, so treat these numbers as planning ranges and confirm the exact figure there before making any payment. We’ll update this page once UMYU confirms its official 2026/2027 fees schedule.
