The Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU), Katsina State, has not yet published its approved academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session.
UMYU runs a non-standard academic year that does not follow the typical September-to-July pattern of most Nigerian universities. For reference, the 2025/2026 session at UMYU commenced in March 2026, well after the calendar year began. This means the 2026/2027 session resumption date cannot simply be assumed from how other universities schedule their calendars, and it has not been announced yet.
Students should check UMYU’s official academic calendar page directly, or the student portal, for the confirmed 2026/2027 dates once released.
