The 13th substantive vice-chancellor of the University of Lagos has been named by the Governing Council of the University of Lagos as Folasade Ogunsola, Professor of Medical Microbiology and Consultant Clinical Microbiologist and Infection Control at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
Ogunsola, FAS, as the university’s 13th Vice-Chancellor.
The appointment was announced after a special Council meeting held on Friday, October 7, 2022.
Professor Ogunsola’s appointment is for five (5) years, beginning on Saturday, November 12, 2022, and ending on Thursday, November 11, 2027.
