Scholarship Benefits
The Scholarship will be provided as a $30,000 annual stipend for living expenses and a $5,000 annual research allowance.
The payment period is 3.5 years. If the individual receiving is an international student, the Scholarship will be given in conjunction with a Tuition Fee Scholarship (TFS).

Selection criteria
Academic merit
interest in acoustics research and/or academic careers concentrating on architectural acoustics, noise reduction in structures, and neighbourhood noise.
Application Procedure
Formal applications should be submitted through email to ada.hdr@unsw.edu.au and include the following:
- Your resume and a transcript of your academic record
- two academic referees’ names
- One example of a piece of writing suitable for an academic audience (such as an undergraduate dissertation or an article from a peer-reviewed publication, etc.)
- A “Statement of Purpose” (maximum 1-2 pages) explaining your motivations for applying, how you satisfy the requirements, and your long-term objectives.
- Your email’s subject line should read: Anita B. Lawrence, Ph.D. Scholarship in Acoustics.
