The organization has assisted injured people, disabled veterans, and their families in obtaining well-deserved benefits for over 35 years. George Sink20 is a military veteran, having served two deployments in Vietnam as a Captain in the Marine Corps.
Scholarship Benefits
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a hardworking U.S. college student who is an active duty military member, a veteran, or the spouse or child of an active duty or retired service person.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicants must meet the following qualifying standards:
- It would be best if you were currently serving in the military, have been honourably discharged, or have an active duty or retired military spouse or parent. All branches of the United States military are eligible:
- United States Army and Reserves
- United States Navy and Reserves
- United States Air Force and Reserves
- Marine Corps and Reserves of the United States
- Coast Guard and Reserves of the United States
- Air National Guard and National Guard
- Accepted or presently enrolled in an accredited junior college, college, or university in the United States.
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher right now.
- Students in high school, recent graduates, undergraduates, and graduate students are all eligible to apply.
How to Apply for Veterans & Military Family Scholarship
- Complete and submit the online application, as well as a school transcript and an essay.
- All applicants must write a 500- to 1,000-word essay on one of the following topics:
- How has your military service influenced your capacity to further your education?
- What do you wish Americans knew more about military service or military families?
- What have you and/or your family given up due to your military service?
- What are you most proud of, and what are you most grateful for, about your/your family member’s military service?
Supporting Documents:
- A school transcript- must submit updated transcripts with current GPA.
- Essay- Candidates must submit a 500- to 1,000-word essay along with their application.
- Applicants must submit the appropriate documentation to prove their military status. We accept the following documentation (Do not submit proof of military service with your application- Only the winner must provide proof of military service):
- Military ID
- Military dependent ID
- Service record
- DD Form 214
