Eligibility for Julius Nyerere Masters Scholarship
The grant will be given to a Tanzanian student who has been admitted full-time for the MSc in Africa and International Development.
The Julius Nyerere Masters Scholarship will be awarded based on academic achievement.
- Candidates must have or intend to receive, the equivalent of a UK first class or 2.1 Honours degree in a Humanities or Social Science field at the undergraduate level.
- Candidates must submit a Personal Statement for the scholarship application, outlining why they are applying for the award and their experience and goals in Africa and International Development.
- In addition, candidates must arrange for two referees to provide reference letters supporting their application.
- Please remember that the Nyerere Scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship award.
