Mathematics and Economics at ADSU Accountancy
The O’level requirement names three subjects out of five, namely English Language, Mathematics and Economics, leaving two relevant subjects to your own choice. Economics is the one most candidates overlook.
At UTME the combination loosens. Mathematics is fixed beside the compulsory English Language, then one Social Science subject and any other subject complete the four papers.
Economics is not named at JAMB level, so a candidate can satisfy the UTME list with a different Social Science while still needing the Economics credit at O’level.
The university has a competitive admissions process and does not consider a student’s age, cultural background or religion when deciding whether to admit them. Candidates need a minimum of 180 and above in their JAMB result for the 2026/2027 session.
