Established in 1949, the International Peace Scholarship Fund is a program that awards scholarships to deserving women from other nations to pursue graduate degrees in the U.S. and Canada.

A scholarship winner enrolled in graduate school may submit one (1) application for renewal. She is only eligible for two (2) years of scholarship support.

Eligibility
The P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund offers financial aid to women from outside the United States and Canada.
Those who are pursuing advanced degrees from an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada with the expectation that students will return home to use their education to make a positive impact and promote international peace.
• To be eligible for her first scholarship, a candidate must still have one full year of school to complete, be enrolled, and live on campus the entire academic year.
• Doctoral students who have finished their studies and are just focusing on their dissertations are not eligible to apply for the first time.
• Scholarship applications are accepted from international students enrolled at Cottey College.
• Residents of Canada and Students who are citizens or legal residents of the United States are ineligible. Note: It is acceptable for a student to have residency just for tax purposes.
