University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) is pleased to offer University of Minnesota International Student Scholarships to outstanding and suitably qualified applicants who wish to enrol in a degree program at the University for 2024/2025 academic session.

Along with your application and the application fee, the Office of Admissions also needs a number of other materials.
Pay your $50 non-refundable application fee in one go. International applicants are not exempt from paying the application fee at the university.
You can pay the cost online at the time of application or later. Please be aware that your application won’t be finalised unless the cost is paid.
Eligibility Criteria for the University of Minnesota International Student Scholarships
To be qualified for the University of Minnesota International Student Scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- International students must apply.
- In possession of a valid temporary non-immigrant visa.
- These rewards are not available to candidates qualified for tuition breaks or waivers.
- Subject to renewal standards, a new high school student will be eligible to receive their prize for four years, while students who have already attended a college or university will only be eligible for these rewards for three years.
- These scholarships are renewable each year, provided that the recipient remains a full-time undergraduate and maintains a cumulative University of Minnesota (U of M) GPA of 3.0.
