African students admitted in the Fall 2024 term (September start date) or later with an admission average of 80% or better studying in English are eligible for the University of Ottawa Scholarships for African Students.

These awardees should also have enrolled in one of the specified undergraduate programs in the Engineering, Science, or Social Sciences faculties.

Depending on the program each year, these substantial financial contributions to their education cut their tuition costs by $17,500 to $25,000 for excellence scholarships and by $12,000 to $20,000 for admission scholarships.
