The Ursinus Gateway Scholarship to Study in the U.S.A. is currently accepting applications.
This scholarship offers eligible local and international students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programmes at Ursinus College $35,000 annually for four years.
The annual cost of attending Ursinus is almost cut in half through the Gateway Scholarship.
The scholarship will be offered to any applicant to Ursinus for the 2024/2025 academic year. Only new, full-time first-year students are qualified for the scholarship.
The recipient of this scholarship can still submit a FAFSA application for need-based aid, and those eligible will be given additional resources. Additionally, they may be eligible for merit- and talent-based scholarships offered to new students. This grant, however, cannot be coupled with other un stackable scholarships.

Ursinus Gateway Scholarship Benefits
A grant of $35,000 will be given to each chosen candidate for this North American scholarship programme over the course of four years. Selected candidates are also eligible for other scholarships, except for non-stackable awards.

- The Zacharias Honours Scholarship, worth $40,000 annually for resident students, is the highest honour for leadership and intellectual excellence.
- Rev. Charles Rice Memorial: Applicants who have significantly influenced issues of diversity and inclusion are eligible for the $35,000/year Rice Memorial Scholarship.
- The $2,500 Legacy Scholarship is given to accepted candidates who are nephews, grandchildren, siblings, children, nieces, or grandchildren of Ursinus students or alumni.

Ursinus Gateway Scholarship Eligibility
Any applicant to Ursinus who satisfies the requirements below will be considered for the scholarship. Candidates who, at the time of their application, had an unweighted GPA of 3.85 or above on a 4.0 scale (applicants with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.84 who had taken a very difficult curriculum will be examined for the scholarship on a case-by-case basis). Applicants with SAT scores of 1250 or higher, ACT scores of 28 or more, or unweighted GPAs of 3.85 or above.
As an illustration, at least 50% of all courses are taken at the IB, AP, or Honours level. Scores submitted after the round’s application deadline (EA, ED1, ED2, RD) won’t be considered.
