Applications are open for Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afahansit’s 2026/2027 intake, with candidates paying ₦2,000 to process their form through the official channel.
Because admission slots and screening exercises run on fixed windows, candidates who submit accurate information early avoid the complications that come with late or incomplete forms.
The rest of this post sets out the requirements and the step-by-step process for completing the application correctly.
What We Know From the Last Admission Cycle
For context, when AKSCOE last ran its Post-UTME screening (2025/2026 session), eligible candidates needed a minimum UTME score of 100 for the NCE programme and 140 for the Degree programme (run in affiliation with the University of Uyo). The screening fee that cycle was ₦2,000.
These figures are useful as a guide to what to expect, but they aren’t a guarantee of what the 2026/2027 form will cost once it’s released; always confirm the actual price on the college’s own portal before paying.
How to Apply Once AKSCOE Releases the 2026/2027 Form

- Log in or register using your JAMB registration number.
- Generate the payment invoice and pay the stated fee through the approved channel.
- Complete the online form, upload a passport photograph, and print your screening slip.
- Keep the printed slip for the physical screening exercise.
