Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment Basic Requirements
The Nigerian Immigration Service has announced the following prerequisites for interested candidates.
- Applicants must be of Nigerian descent by birth.
- A minimum of four credits in either WASSCE/GCE/NECO or NABTEB must be obtained in no more than two sittings. As a result, one of the credits must be in English.
- In addition to the requirements listed above, applicants for tradesmen women must have an OND/Trade TCST/City and Guild Certificate. Details can be found on their website.
- Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 22 for non-tradesmen women and between the ages of 18 and 26 for tradesmen women by June 1st 2024.
- The candidate must not have any criminal convictions.
- You must be physically, mentally, and medically fit.
- Male applicants must be no taller than 1.65 metres, and female applicants must be no taller than 1.56 metres.

- Any certificate or qualification that has not been declared, tendered, and accepted at the recruitment centre will not be accepted after the recruitment process.
- Candidates should print the referee form, which must be completed and submitted during screening.
- A duly filled and signed guarantor’s part of the application form, signed by officers not lower than the level of Chief Superintendent of Immigration (CSI) or its equivalents in the sister organisation, must be presented for screening.
