The Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has not released a resumption date for both old and new students for the 2026/2027 session yet. If you’re checking for the BMU resumption date, the honest answer right now is that it hasn’t been announced.
Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) Resumption Date
BMU’s website doesn’t have a resumption notice posted yet for returning or fresh 100-level students for the 2026/2027 session. Admission for the session closed recently, so a resumption announcement should follow once screening and registration logistics are finalised.
We’ll update this page as soon as the Governing Council and Management confirm a date. Keep an eye on the university’s news page and the BMU-Learn portal, or contact the registrar’s office directly.
Fresh students can use this time to confirm their admission status and prepare the required documents, so registration can move quickly once the Governing Council releases a date.
