It is very important for all candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses offered in FUOTUOKE to carefully confirm and see if the course they Selected is offered in the institution before registering for JAMB.

About Federal Unversity Otuoke

The Federal University, Otuoke, is a federal government-owned University located in Otuoke, a town in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State, Southern Nigeria.

It was established in 2011 by the government of Nigeria with 282 Pioneer students.

The University offers undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Science, Management Science, Social Science, Humanities, Education, Engineering, and Technology.

Admission Requirements for Computer Science And Informatics

WAEC/NECO Subject Combination

The WAEC/NECO subject combination and requirements needed to study Computer Science And Informatics is Five (5) SSCE credits in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and two other science subjects.

JAMB Subject Combination

In UTME, please note that the English Language is Compulsory for this course.

Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combinations needed to study Computer Science And Informatics under the Faculty of Science at FUOTUOKE include;

Physics, Mathematics, and one other subject chosen from Biology, Geography, Economics, and Chemistry.

Direct Entry Requirement

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Computer Science And Informatics if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ Level/NCE passes in Mathematics and other science subjects.

JAMB Score

All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUOTUOKE for the 2024/2025 session should know that to be eligible for the screening, you must have scored a minimum of 180 and above in your JAMB result.
