This is to inform the general public and all Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) aspirants that the Department of Crop Production Admission requirements has been published.
The admission requirements include O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
Entry Requirements
O’Level Subject Combination
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Crop Production include the following:
- Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, and one Science/Social Science subject and at least an O’ level pass in Physics.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB
- English Language
- Chemistry
- Biology/Agriculture
- Mathematics or Physics
Direct Entry Requirement
You need to fulfill these conditions to gain Direct Entry admission to study Crop Production if you don’t intend to use UTME. You require;
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Agricultural Science/Botany/Zoology or Physics/Mathematics/Economics.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
- FUTMINNA does not accept Social Science subjects. Other requirements are as in Agriculture.
JAMB Score
All candidates interested in getting admitted into FUTMINNA for the 2024/2025 session should know that you must have scored 180 or above in your JAMB result to be eligible for the screening.
