IMIT has confirmed how its cut-off mark works for the 2026/2027 session. That detail shapes everything else a candidate does next in the admission process, from screening eligibility to document submission.
Candidates who are still unsure where they stand should treat IMIT’s figure as the starting point for everything else in the admission process. Getting this detail wrong at the outset can cost an otherwise qualified candidate a place later.
The application form is open to every applicant who met the official cut-off mark of 120 in JAMB, and applicants should note that a higher JAMB score gives them a higher advantage.
Candidates must also meet the required cut-off mark for the school and the desired department. It is worth double-checking this detail directly against the official portal before relying on it.
Ihechukwu Madubuike Institute of Technology (IMIT) is a state polytechnic located in Isuochi, Abia State, Nigeria. The school has proven to be very competitive when it comes to giving out admissions to its candidates.

IMIT 2026/2027 UTME Merit Admission Cut-off Marks
The departmental cut-off mark for IMIT 2026/2027 hasn’t been published by the school yet. Nothing about that changes based on a candidate’s course of interest. Skipping or rushing this part of the process is one of the more common reasons admission gets delayed.
However, as soon as the cut-off mark is available, we will update you. Nothing about that changes based on a candidate’s course of interest. None of this changes depending on how strong the rest of a candidate’s application looks. Nothing about that changes based on a candidate’s course of interest.
Past the IMIT Mark, What Next
IMIT‘s cut-off mark decides who can be considered, nothing more. The rest of the admission outcome depends on how well a candidate handles the steps that follow.
Nothing about the rest of the process gets easier just because this figure is cleared. IMIT candidates should keep that in mind while the rest of the admission process plays out.
