Lagos State BECE Registration Deadline Extended

The Ministry of Education of Lagos State has extended the registration deadline for the 2025 BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination).

Director of Lagos State Examinations Board, Orunsolu Adeebayo, stated the new deadline and its impact on approved Private Junior Secondary Schools, Public Junior secondary school and Special Schools.

Deadline Extension Details

The registration deadline for the 2025 BECE, originally set for April 14, has been extended to April 28.

The extension aims to address the challenges during the registration process faced by schools caused by unreliable network services and the central bank of Nigeria’s cashless policy.
