NUC Approves Full Accreditation Of 21 Undergraduate Programs At KUST

The Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil, has received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission for 21 academic programs in five faculties.

The authorization was conveyed in a correspondence dated April 14 and endorsed by Professor Abubakar Abdulrasheed, the Executive Secretary of the NUC.

Dr. Maryam Sali, the commission’s Director of Accreditation, specifies that the comprehensive accreditation is effective for the ensuing five years.

This accreditation results from a thorough examination and validation of human resources and facilities dedicated to nurturing highly proficient graduates.

Some of the fully accreditated academic programs by the commission include:

Previously, the university obtained comprehensive approval from the commission for the establishment of 14 new academic programs and one postgraduate program, following a successful resource assessment.

Among the newly approved programs are Forestry and Wildlife Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management, and Building Technology, among others.
