UDUTH SHIM has opened its admission form for 2026/2027, and candidates are required to pay a fee of ₦2,000 as part of the application process.

Courses Offered
UDUTH SHIM runs three main programmes:
- National Diploma (ND) in Health Information Management
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management
- Pre-Higher National Diploma (PHND) in Health Information Management
National Diploma (ND) Entry Requirements
- Five (5) credits in not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE or its equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry or Physics, plus one more subject.
- UTME sat with a score meeting the school’s cut-off. Candidates who chose the school as their first choice get preference.
The ND programme runs four academic semesters over two years, including a Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).
Higher National Diploma (HND) Entry Requirements
- An ND or Professional Diploma with at least lower credit in Health Information Management.
- Evidence of passing the Part I licensing exam.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a health institution (candidates with a pass grade need at least two years).
Full-time HND runs two academic sessions (four semesters including SIWES); part-time HND runs three academic sessions (six semesters including SIWES).
Pre-HND (PHND) Entry Requirements
Candidates need to meet the HND minimum requirements and hold a Health Technician Certificate in Health Information Management. Part-time applicants also need an appointment letter. The PHND programme runs one academic session of two semesters.
What the Form Cost Last Cycle
When the form was last on sale, the non-refundable fee was ₦2,000 for ND (full-time and part-time) and ₦5,000 for HND, PHND, and part-time HND, paid via Remita by selecting “UDUTH SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION” from the Service Type menu. Shortlisted candidates were then invited for a test and interview.
