The Administrative Board of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has announced the admission list for Direct Entry (DE) candidates into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session. The list has been published in batches as the university processes applications.
DE candidates who applied to UNIPORT should check their status through the admission portal rather than assuming they have been admitted without confirming. The university has released five separate batches so far, covering candidates admitted at different stages.

- Go to the UNIPORT admission status-checking portal.
- Input your JAMB registration number in the required column.
- Finally, click on the search button to access your UNIPORT admission status.
DE candidates successfully admitted into the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) first-degree programs are to:
- Login to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and click on ACCEPT or REJECT
- Print their JAMB admission letter

- Candidates seeking admission in the 2026/2027academic session should log in to the JAMB website, click on CAPS to check their admission status, and click on accept/reject button to either accept or reject the offer.
- Candidates whose admission status show “not admitted” should keep checking the JAMB website for further updates.
- Candidates should please note that the Admission List will be published in batches on the University’s website as they are processed. Candidates are therefore advised to keep checking the University’s website for the Admission List.
- Those offered provisional admission should proceed with the Acceptance and Registration processes. The procedure is on the University website.
What DE Candidates Should Do After Checking the UNIPORT List
Candidates confirmed on any of the five DE batches should log in to JAMB CAPS to accept their offer, then print their admission letter and proceed with the university’s acceptance and registration process.
Those still marked as not admitted should keep checking the JAMB and UNIPORT websites, since new batches continue to be processed and published.
