The admission requirements consist of O’level Subject combinations, JAMB UTME Subject combinations, and School and Departmental Cut-Off Marks.
UI Department Of Geology Admission Requirements
O’level Subject Combinations
Candidates who wish to study Geology at the University Of Ibadan (UI) must possess Five ‘O’ level subjects at one sitting or 6 ‘O’ level subjects in 2 sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and one of the following: Geography, Further Mathematics, Economics, and Technical Drawing.
JAMB UTME Subject Combination
Candidates will write the following Four (4) Subjects in JAMB.
English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics.
UI JAMB Cut-Off Mark
Generally, For any candidate to be admitted into the University Of Ibadan (UI) for any course, the candidate must score 200 and above in jamb. That is to say that the University Of Ibadan (UI) JAMB Cut-Off mark is 200.
UI Department Of Geology Departmental Cut-Off Mark
The UI Department of Geology’s Departmental Cut-Off Mark is 250. That is to say that, Candidates who seek admission to the University Of Ibadan (UI) Department of Geology must score 250 and above in the school UTME Screening exercise.
