The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has not released a single confirmed academic calendar for undergraduates for the 2026/2027 academic session at the time of this update.
Different sources have circulated conflicting lecture resumption dates for UNIJOS’ 2026/2027 session, with some citing early October 2026 and others citing early November 2026, and neither is backed by a calendar document on UNIJOS’ own website. Because these figures contradict each other, neither is reproduced here as confirmed. What is known is that returning students at UNIJOS typically resume one week ahead of fresh students, a pattern that has held across recent sessions.

Students should check UNIJOS’ official website (unijos.edu.ng) directly, or the Directorate of Academic Planning and Management, for the confirmed calendar once it is released. We will publish the full first and second semester dates here as soon as they are officially out.
