The College of Nursing Sciences, Calabar, has opened applications for its Post Basic Midwifery Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year. The programme is intended for registered nurses who want to add a midwifery qualification to their existing licence.

Nursing License
Every applicant must hold a valid RN licence. On the academic side, five O-level credits are required, and they must cover the following subjects:

- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
The five credits may be obtained in a maximum of two sittings. Results spread across three or more sittings will not meet the requirement.

From Wednesday, 11th October, 2026, application forms are available from the Registry Department at the College of Nursing Sciences on Moore Road, Calabar. Forms are issued at the college itself rather than online.
Step 2: Payment Details
A payment of twenty thousand naira (N20,000) must be made into the college account, and you will need the teller or transfer evidence when collecting the form. The account details are:
