To facilitate a seamless verification process for the candidates, EBSU has delineated a straightforward process to check admission status. Applicants are advised to adhere to the following steps:

• Candidates should initiate their inquiry by visiting the EBSU Admission Status Portal.
• Choose the appropriate program type pertinent to your application.
• Opt to perform a search either by utilizing your JAMB registration number or your name.
• Input your JAMB registration number or name in the designated field.
• Conclude the process by clicking on “Check Admission Status.”

You can also access your EBSU admission status on the Jamb admission checking Portal by following the procedures outlined below:

• Go to jamb.gov.ng/efacility to access the JAMB E-Facility portal.
• Use your username and password to access your Jamb profile.
• Click the “Check Admission Status” tab after scrolling down.
• Choose your exam year, then fill out the appropriate fields with your registration number.
• Finally, to access your EBSU, select “Check Admission Status.”

Requirements for Students Admitted to EBSU

Successfully admitted candidates are advised to;

• Visit the Ebonyi State University website to learn more about the criteria and clearance procedures.
• Students must log in to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to accept or reject their acceptance.
•  After accepting the admission, candidates should print their JAMB admission letter.
•  Print their authentic Jamb scorecard (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
•  If students are offered courses other than the ones they originally applied for, they should use the JAMB Portal to request a change of course.

Note: If you haven’t been admitted yet, kindly exercise patience, as admission is still in progress. Regularly check JAMB CAPS and the University website for their admission status. If your O-level results are not properly uploaded on JAMB CAPS, you will most likely not be offered admission, so endeavor to update all your information.

Confirming Your Name on Either EBSU Batch

With both the first and second batch of the EBSU admission list already released, candidates who have not yet checked should do so through either the EBSU Admission Status Portal or the JAMB E-Facility portal, since both routes confirm the same official record.

Once you confirm your name on either batch, move promptly to accept the offer on JAMB CAPS, print your admission letter, and begin gathering the documents needed for clearance at Ebonyi State University.
