Admission into FCE OKENE for 2026/2027 now runs on a 120 cut-off mark. Candidates who scored below that in UTME are not eligible to proceed, regardless of their course of interest.

Admission into the university is strictly by merit and catchment area benefits, and candidates with higher scores are most likely to be considered first. Nothing about that changes based on a candidate’s course of interest.
Candidates are expected to meet the stipulated requirements and cut-off marks, as admission into the school is highly competitive. None of this changes depending on how strong the rest of a candidate’s application looks.
Candidates seeking admission into FCE OKENE must meet the stipulated cut-off mark of 120 and above in JAMB to be considered qualified. Qualified candidates must also meet the desired departmental cut-off mark to be admitted into the university.
Federal College of Education, Okene, is located in Okene, Kogi State. FCE OKENE accepts both first and second-choice applicants. Nothing about that changes based on a candidate’s course of interest.

The Next Step After FCE OKENE’s Mark
The cut-off mark is FCE OKENE‘s way of narrowing the field. Candidates who clear it still have real work left before admission is confirmed.
