FUD has released its official cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 admission session, fixed at 150. Candidates who put the school down on JAMB need to clear that figure before anything else on their admission checklist.
The Federal University Dutse is one of the nine universities created by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2011. None of this changes depending on how strong the rest of a candidate’s application looks.
FUD offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The Federal University, Dutse, held its first convocation ceremony on January 16, 2016. It is worth double-checking this detail directly against the official portal before relying on it.
FUD Cut-off Mark
After every UTME exercise, a particular mark is set out by the exam body {e.g. 120}. This mark is a score a candidate must have or cross to qualify him or her to sit for the chosen school’s POST UTME exercise.
This said mark is released to all schools to enable them to decide the number of candidates they will admit.
After the school’s decision, they announce a particular mark that must not be lower than the mark the UTME body fixed.
Any candidate who crosses the mark set by the UTME body and does not reach the chosen school’s mark is NEVER eligible to sit for the school’s POST UTME. This mark or score set by the school admission board is known as SCHOOL’S CUT-OFF MARK.
FUD 2026/2027 JAMB Cut-off Mark
The Federal University Dutse Jamb cut-off mark is the general cut-off mark set as a benchmark for all courses offered in the institution.
FUD Jamb’s cut-off mark for the 2026/2027 academic session is 150, so for a student to register for the Federal University Duste POST UTME, he or she must score nothing less than 150 in the concluded JAMB examination.
However, Due to high competition, it’s advisable to score more than the required cut-off mark to boost your chances of gaining admission into the university.

Clearing FUD‘s cut-off mark is the entry requirement, not the finish line. Candidates still need to complete every other step in the admission process to secure a place.
