The Federal University Gashua (FUGASHUA) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the 12-month UTME Preparatory Programme (UPP) for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Upon completing their UTME examination and the UPP programme, successful candidates will be eligible for admission into 100-level courses of their choice at the University.
Entry Requirements
To qualify for the computer-based UPP programme, candidates must possess at least five credits at O-Levels from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent, achieved in not more than two sittings.
These credits must include three basic subjects plus Mathematics and English Language.
The University does allow deficiency in up to two subjects. However, these deficiencies must be remedied within the period of the UPP programme through NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB.
Method of Application
The application forms can be obtained from the University’s School of Preliminary Studies (SPS).
Cost of Application Form
An application form costs only Four Thousand Naira (N4,000.00). Payment should be made through Remita in favour of the Federal University Gashua, and a receipt should be obtained from the Bursary.
This receipt will enable the collection of the form at the SPS.
Duration of Sale
The application forms will be sold from 15th June 2024 until 30th September 2024. Late sales will continue until 31st October 2024.
