FUTA Post-UTME/DE: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Details


The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) announces the release of the application forms for the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) and Direct Entry screening for the academic year 2024.

This news is critically important for aspiring students who aim to secure a seat in one of Nigeria’s leading technology-focused universities.

Registration PeriodBetween Monday, 11th September and Saturday, 21st October, 2024.
Eligible CandidatesThose who scored at least 180 in the 2024 UTME Direct Entry candidates are also eligible.
Screening FeeN2,000.00 payable on the REMITA platform
Application StepsVisit the school’s website, log in, generate RRR, make payment, fill out the form, and print it out.
DeadlineCandidates must register within the stipulated period for eligibility.

FUTA Post-UTME/De Eligibility

Candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their Institution of choice and scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which JAMB conducted.

Direct Entry candidates are also eligible and must sit for the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise.

Registration Period

The window for accessing the online Application/Registration Form will commence on Monday, 11th September, and culminate on Saturday, 21st October, 2024.

This period should be marked in your calendars to ensure timely registration and completion of the requisite forms..

Method of Application

Candidates must check the University website for the mode of payment for application, download, complete, and submit the University Post-UTME Application Form online, and print out a copy.

Requirement for Screening

  • All candidates are to come along with the items listed below to the screening venue:
  • JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration Slips for Direct Entry Candidates.
  • A printed copy of the completed FUTA Post-UTME Online Registration Form.
  • Evidence of payment via REMITA.

NOTE: Any UTME/Direct Entry Candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the Computer-Based Screening Exercise will NOT be considered for admission by the University.
