The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) administration has announced the resumption of academic activities for the completion of academic activities.
FUTO Resumption Date
The University Management hereby directs the resumption of full academic activities in the Federal University of Technology Owerri, effective Monday, October 17, 2025.
This comes as a result of suspending the industrial action that was being taken by all of the university-based staff unions.
Please be advised that from Monday, October 24, 2025, lectures will resume in earnest.
